carnalstrength@hotmail.com BarCode, Mayo 18 ZonArt 9 de Febrero Metal-Medallo 16 de Febrero English At the beginning of the year 2007 Charly Correa and Jorge Gallego, on the drums and voice respectively, after a year in another musical project, choose to take new paths creating a Melodic Death Metal Band aside with the guitar player Cesar Renjifo; after composing the basis of the first songs the bass player Sergio Jimenez, who also came from the same previous project, gets in the band complementing the musical creation, and the establishment of the band name as Carnal Strength. At half 2007 the guitar player Johan Sebastian Machado became part of the band giving the final shape to the project with the necessary contributions for the band’s plan. During the years 2007 and 2008 the band use great care to the composition of a satisfactory repertory in musical terms, counting nowadays with 8 lyrical and two instrumental songs in addition to three cover songs, had participated on several live presentations in company of metal bands of different gender, and had recorded a CD Demo with electronic resources of people close to the band which introduces the first four songs composed by the band. Carnal Strength borns from the need of founding the group on the fraternalism of the members, in this way became primordial the respect for the influences difference, originated from each one of the participants of a musical project oriented towards Melodic Death Metal but with strong features of other music genders. As a result of this principle the musical creation harmonizes with the contributions of each militant on the band squad, with the composition of virtuosic, creative music for the enjoyment of the Metal lovers and the own authors. Carnal Strength represents the strength born from the material form of the being which the band symbolizes and the ability of this being to transcend on intellectual terms over the surrounding world. Español A comienzos del año 2007 Charly Correa y Jorge Gallego, en la batería y voz, respectivamente, luego de un año en otro proyecto musical, deciden tomar nuevos caminos con la formación de una banda de Death Metal Melódico junto al guitarrista Cesar Renjifo; luego de la composición básica de las primeras canciones se incorpora a la banda el bajista Sergio Jiménez, proveniente también del mismo proyecto previo, para complementar la creación musical, y el establecimiento del nombre Carnal Strength. A mediados del año 2007 entra a formar parte de la banda el guitarrista Johan Sebastián Machado dando forma final al proyecto con los aportes que hacían falta al planteamiento de la banda. Durante los años 2007 y 2008 la banda se ha dedicado esmeradamente a la composición de un repertorio satisfactorio en términos musicales, contando a la fecha con 8 canciones líricas y dos instrumentales, además de tres “cover songs”, a participado en varios conciertos en compañía de bandas de diversos géneros de metal; y a grabado un CD Demo con recursos electrónicos de personas cercanas al grupo, que presenta las primeras cuatro canciones compuestas por el grupo. Carnal Strength nace bajo la necesidad de fundamentar el grupo en la fraternalidad de los miembros, de esta forma, resulta primordial el respeto por la diferencia en las influencias, que traen consigo cada uno de los participantes del proyecto musical orientado hacia el Death Metal Melódico pero con fuertes rasgos de otros géneros musicales. Como fruto de este principio, la creación musical armoniza gracias a los aportes de cada uno de los militantes en las filas de la banda, cuyo objetivo común es la composición de música virtuosa, creativa y de disfrute para los amantes del metal y los propios autores. Carnal Strength representa la fortaleza que nace de la forma material del ente que significa la banda y la capacidad que este ente posee para trascender en términos intelectuales sobre el mundo que nos afecta. |
