Movies: Faster Pussycat Kill, Kill! Spiderbaby. 50's and 60's B films. Motorcycle movies. Night of the Hunter (Who the fuck had tattooed knuckles in the 50's except for Robert Mitchum?), Santa Sangre, Harold and Maude, Eraserhead, Blue Velvet (just a few).
Television: Perry Mason, Twilight Zone, Thunderbirds Are Go.........Little Britain, Ramsay; Chef from Hell. Finally, after all these years, I started watching the Sopranos. I'm hooked!
Books: Ricky Braggs - great books about Americana and, oh yeah, helped that Marine chic that was "rescued" from Iraq write her story, Geek Love, Redneck Manifesto, anything by Bukowski (the best drunk in the world), the Princess trilogy by Jean Sasson, Twilight in the Desert.
Heroes: Ann Calvello (RIP), Tura Satana, who, by the way, tells me she used to ride a Harley AND an Indian back in the 60's! Damn, I wish she was my mom!!!
