About Me |
|
| The Blasters continue in the best traditions of American Music, influencing their musical landscape and winning the hearts and souls of fans worldwide. They are led by founding members Phil Alvin, Bill Bateman and John Bazz, with the addition of Keith Wyatt on guitar, and carry on their hard-won legacy as one of the most credible and recognizable bands playing Americana Roots Music. Influenced by the likes of the George Jones, Carl Perkins, Ike Turner, Howlin Wolf and Big Joe Turner, to name but just a few, their sound is an eclectic amalgam of post-war Rock & Roll, Country, Blues and Rockabilly. Their latest album, "4-11-44" on Rainman Records, is the Blasters' fifth studio album, with fourteen tracks of their signature Rock, Blues and Country. Phil Alvin's vocals are as powerful and true as they ever were, and the band follows through with steady, raucous riffs and rhythms. Don't hesitate to see the Blasters live, as each and every performance is a strong and electrifying celebration of the band's heritage that should not be missed. | |
