| "They Came from Taiwan" is a collective of musicians that represents a movement to expose independent bands from Taiwan (and other Asian countries) to a greater audience, an effort to connect independent artists and musicians from the East and West.It is also a critical part of building momentum for Taiwanese bands that are working toward playing at South By SouthWest Music Festival 2008.These bands included (but are not limited to): Goodbye!Nao!, Varo, Emily, KbN, Ladybug, Telephone Booth, and The Shine & Shine & Shine & Shine.-----(All proceeds from mp3's purchased go toward funding Taiwanese bands working to travel to SXSW'08.
