| So we're The Smelly Cats. A punkrock band from Holland, from BRABANT that is.... It all started with The Manimal trying to put together a Punkrock band in august 2007. We started to play as a three piece band. The Manimal, Hans and Tommy... But we soon found out that there was something missing... We needed something energetic, cool, hairy, and a fucking guitar god!!!! The answer was simple: call a couple of people and see if there interested... Well El Dudo was interested and he apparently was our missing link. He joined the band in November 2007. After playing a couple of shows together we got the chance to play in the USA in January 2008. We immediately said yes and took a plain across the great pond. As soon as we got back, Tommy started to write some songs, the result was us recording an EP in march 2008. It's a 5 song EP called '2 nuts and a pumphandle' and it's for sale on our website or at shows for only 5 euro's.... It's pretty cool to see the 4 personalities in the band: Tommy Queer (vocals/guitar) – Young adrenaline-fueled punkrock-god, born to perform on stage El Dudo (guitar)– Sleezy/dirty/edgy guitar riffs and solo’s for pumping punkrock Manimal (drums) – God of thunder and walking machinegun Wizzkid (Bass) – Sid Vicious look-a-like when he has just woke up Now we're on our way to conquer the world with a kickass mixture of 70’s/80’s punk and newer poppunk music, pumping those amps up to 11!!!!
