| Corde Brève s’est créé à l’été 2007 autour de l’idée de reprendre des textes du XIXe siècle pour les mettre en musique. Le choix des textes et des auteurs ne se veut pas exhaustif, il a été fait au fur et à mesure, presque aléatoirement au fil des recherches, sans esprit d’érudition. On retrouve des auteurs connus mais également on y découvre les oubliés, les inconnus de la littérature du XIXe.
