About Vampyre Heart Vampyre Heart is a new and upcoming Goth band based in Bournemouth UK, formed in 2007. The band are currently in the studio recording there first Album The Ghost of Time, although they were hoping to have this Album released by now, however in September 2007 Summer (the lead singer) was involved in a serious motor bike accident. Then ironically, a few months later D Soul was also involved in a motor bike accident. The outcome of this meant they had no choice but put the recording on hold until they both recovered enough to return back to the studio. They are now back recording the Album and working in overdrive to get back on schedule. They’re hoping to release their music and Album as soon as possible, but for now as a taster, Vampyre Heart has released their first song ‘The Ghost of Time’, to allow fans to hear what the band sounds like. The band were also very happy to be able to work with Finlay (From the Gothic rock band the Pseudo Philosophers) who was responsible for the great sounding Rhythm Guitar in ‘The Ghost of Time’. The other songs on the upcoming Album offer a variety of different sounds and styles of Gothic music, all composed and produced by D Soul. All Lyrics for the Album and Poetry in her book are written by Summer. Many people have asked where she gets the ideas and inspiration from when she’s writing. Her answer is simple “I draw on my own feelings and life experiences; it’s where my passion comes from, from the heart!” Summer is also currently writing a Novel – ‘Vampyre Heart the Story’. The story is an excitable mix of fiction verses non-fiction, telling the story about the love of two people fighting to keep their love alive, whilst overcoming the challenges and myths of the under world, filled with Betrayal, Witch Craft, Vampyre’s, Ghost’s and much much more, The book even has a soundtrack - The Album ‘The Ghost of Time’. About The Poetry of Summerseve The time has finally come were I get to put my poems into a book; a book which is a symbol of my life long road of emotions and feelings from deep inside. I’ve realised that one of the hardest things to cope with is emotion, so my escape was to write them down and by doing this I found some solitude within my pain. I’ve realised that my life is a journey within its self and to be able to share this brings comfort to my soul. Each poem has it’s own meaning and to each individual that reads them, I’m hoping that it will bring contentment to an emotion that you may of once felt. Love & Hate seem to run along a very close line, just like sadness and laughter, the laughter brings fulfilment and seems to lift us up so high that we feel like we are on top of the world, but then a sadness crashes us into the depths of despair an emotion that takes time to overcome. Our bodies will heal themselves but there may be times that we may cry a river and there may also come a time when the river will run dry. Some people say that time will heal the heart of everything, but I believe that in time you learn to move on and deal with the pain of emptiness. In this life time there will be many occasions that different people will walk into our lives, however in my eyes, nothing lasts forever. Time changes and people move on, so I have learnt to try and be thankful for the time I have had with these special people. Whether it was a partner or just a friend I would rather have part of them and a memory that will last forever, instead of never having the pleasure of knowing them at all. I’ve learnt that you can’t live on love alone and there are times that you have to let that someone go. If they come back then you know it was mean’s to be. Life is a challenge within it’s self and it’s our darkest fear that will lead us astray. Life is merely a gateway to the after life; we are here to learn by our mistakes. We live our lives many times before we succeed. Isn’t this why the rich are rich and the poor are poor? Who knows why the rain rains and the sun shines or why we live and die then pass over to the greater power of the divine, hidden within the veil of time. There are many questions & answers to life, but whilst we’re in it searching and striving, we should live life like tomorrow is our last and only then can we live each day to it’s full and become one with ourselves. |
