| Whats up?? Its james A.K.A. Controversy. Im working on that new album "Realer Than Life Vol. 2" Ive been rapping close to 13 yrs. now. Lol it all started when me and my two cousins Danny (DP) and Mikhail (TRAUMATIC) started recording r&b songs on a kareokee machine that i got for christmas. Well over time our r&b progressed to rap. I wrote my brother a poem called "A lost boy's soul". One day i took this poem and just kinda started saying it fast and two of my friends pointed out that they thought it would be good for a rap. Well this led me to writting more and eventually my cousins joined in. We looked in on how to get started recording and producing beats. We discovered that a four track mixer for recording and the original mtv music generator for the beats would be the least expensive and best for the quality we could afford. We started working on our first demo. I mean we just started making songs and we thought we were superstars. We made around 10 songs on tape.....cd production for people just starting out was unheard of back then. Truthfully the tape sucked. I mean we werent on beat we really didnt know how to write bars but we just enjoyed what we were doing. Well like everything else in time the music progressed and just got better and better. Also due to changing with the times and started using a computer to record. Well since ive started rapping i've made three cds "realer than life vol. 1" "The Classic" And "A Dangerous Game" Im now set on completing my fourth album "realer than life vol. 2" Im really excited about this new one. Lol the first cd i will ever due completly sober.....well maybe a lil bud in my system but you get the point. I'd like to thank everyone who supports my music especially my girl liz who is there for me through my ups and downs as i struggle to stay sober. Even if its not the best quality or the best shit you ever heard....im just trying to get myself heard.
