Forged from the blue collar steel town of Reading, Pa. Throdl have carved their own jagged path across the face of the east coast U.S. with perseverance and a never say die attitude. In a scene overflowing with generic nameless and faceless metal bands. Throdl has risen above the masses, with a rabid and loyal fan base known as the Brand New Rome(BNR), to prove itself to be a "well oiled machine" that is constantly writing new material and finding new ways to improve and enhance their already phenomenal stage show.When you talk about chemistry Throdl has found the perfect formula of modern metal and old school hardcore groove .1 part )j's hard hitting yet technically complex drumming finesse and digital sampling. 1 part) Big Dave's rock solid playing and thunderous tone lock in with j's drumming to create a rhythm section from hell. 2 parts) guitars made up of the "dream team" of Fidler and Chris who's perfect combination of "ultra tight" machine gun rhythms and mood inspiring melodies are unparallelled in the metal scene today. Finally, T. Brad commands the audience like a general preparing to go to war with poetic and politically charged, but not "preachy" lyrics ,vocal styling and just enough rock-star swagger to let you know hes the boss. when blended together with an intense high energy live show, Throdl is a must see.On Throdl's most recent release on DRP Records ,"This is Freedoms Obituary", they hit you with a barrage of "wake-up calls". with topics ranging from the state of the world to the state of their own mental being.
