Last but not least Bea is the southern soulful blues diva of the band. Her voice is so soulful it will give you goose bumps. I enjoy composing, writing lyrics, and I am a performance artist. My earliest beginnings were in true jazz playing. It was very demanding at times. I was introduced to many local musicians, including Motown session players who went on to become nationally known. My genres include Blues, Jazz, Classic Rock and Country. My influences are Grant Green, Wes Montgomery, Eddie Harris (with his awesome lines), George Benson, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and Jeff Beck. I started playing at the age of 11 while in Grade School. At this young age I learned the fundamentals of the drumming (rudiments, timing, reading, counting, single and double stock roles. I then took an interest in Football so I gave up drumming for about 16 years. I went to a gospel concert about 2 years ago, with Rance Allen, Soul Seekers, Karen Clarke Sheard, Kiki Sheard, and Marvin Sapp. After listing to several outstanding drummers, the fire was set and I went out and purchased an entry level kit.
