Hello my friend, welcome to my Myspace page. I am so glad you came by to visit. I hope you enjoy your stay... As long as your here I might as well tell you little about myself eh? Come, sit, relax a while and I will start my tale. First and foremost I would like to ask that you do not judge me by what you see on this page. There is much more to me than meets the eye and more than I could ever fit on this page at one time. With that in mind I tend to change things up on here quite often. To see my page and write me off as just anouther "hippy" or "Goth" is to be mistaken. I am a normal guy but there is allot to me. I only ask for the chance to get to know me before you judge me. My real name is John, I am 33 years old and was born and raised here in Southeastern Michigan. I guess you could say my personality is made up of a pretty equal mix of sanity and insanity. The bad part is both are fairly consistent in trying to take over in one way or another. I am my own worst enemy. I have yet to find that inner peace, that personal contentment Not "within myself" but with myself but I keep trying. Even though at times it seems that peace is as far away from me as I am from the moon. Something that I can see but could never reach. Throughout my life I have always seemed to be drawn toward the darker side of things. Things most don't like to think or talk about. It seems to me to be like this curtain that society has formed and tells us we should not look behind and just to focus on our self but I just cant help from taking a peak. I often share my interest in darker things here on this page. I guess one reason for displaying such dark material is to pull that social curtain back a little for others to see and maybe remind them of things we so easily forget about while focused on our own day to day lives. I also have a lighter side believe it or not and my page can be shown to reflect that as well from time to time. I like to think of my page as a reflection of where my feelings are, at any particular point in my life. I have a 12 year old son named Joey. He is a great boy and I am very proud of the young man he is becoming. He is my pride and joy. Sadly to say though, after only a short marriage, his mother and I divorced. I think the main reasons it didn't work out were that we were just to young and different from each other. However we get along well for him now and have no real issues. We divorced about ten years ago. Even though he says he is proud of me as a father, I hope to one day make him as proud of me as I am of him. I think it would be safe to say that despite the turmoil that can be inside my head at times I am a pretty laid back guy. I love the outdoors, I love the night sky with all of its stars. I especially love the ocean. I always stand in awe over it's vastness when ever I see it and can loose myself for hours just staring at it. Give me the ocean on a clear night and you will see one happy man. I am a Christian and I have a great respect and healthy fear of God. I often marvel at how small we really are on this tiny blue marble we call Earth when put in contrast with the infinitely bigger picture of all Gods handy work and if given eternity I could never thank Christ enough for saving me and loving me as much as he does. He has been and continues to be unbelievably patient with me. I love music in all forms. I guess you could say I have a very eclectic taste in music. I enjoy anywhere from metal, rock, r&b, jazz, new age, easy listening, classic rock, retro, blues, reggae, classical, some rap, some country and much more. I tend to not get to into who joined what band when or what record was released when, with the music I listen to. I do know some of those things but my real love and passion for it lies in the memories and emotions that it can conjure. I strongly feel your missing out if you cannot let your music take you somewhere else and escape once in awhile. If you let it, music can take you to dreams and places far beyond anything we are ever promised in this life. Music is truly the language of the soul. Speaking of music, I guess I could also add here that I play the drums. I have been playing the drums for going on 20 years now and have played in many bands and in many places. However I am not in a band right now. My last band was a band called Approaching Zero and before that a band called Ful-Fac-Shun. They were both heavy metal/hard core projects and you can check out there music and my playing on there Myspace sights that are located in the my friends section of this page. Some of my main interests would include creating, playing and listening to music, I like art, cooking, movie's, talking and learning about God, talking about the difference between a relationship with God and the man made institution of "religion", I like talking about politics, I enjoy learning about history, I love midievil weapon's, armor and folklore, I enjoy video game's and I love playing the drum's and other percusion instrument's. Music:Apart from God music is my one true love on this earth. I enjoy all kinds of music. Some of my favorites include Dead Can Dance, Sting, Enigma, , Enya, Yanni, Mushroomhead, David Arkenstone, Megadeth, U2, Moody blues, Coldplay, Type O Negarive, Joe Hedges, VAST, Clutch, Tool, Johnny Cash, Nickleback, Robert Rich, Brendan perry, Led Zepplin, The Verve, Black Sabbath, Crash Test Dummies, Pink Floyd, Queen, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Slayer, Depeche Mode, Creedence Clearwater Revival and many many more. Television:I don't watch to much T.V. But when I do, I like to watch documentries like on Discovery, Discovery Times, The Science channel, The National Geographic Channel, The Military Channel and The Hitler Chan... um I meen The History Channel... I also like to watch the news often, pretty boring huh? lol I do enjoy other shows as well like Fresh Prince, Spongebob, Invader Zim, Hell's Kitchen, VH1 countdowns and things like that. However if I am watching T.V. I mostly tend to just get into whatever someone els is watching and can find myself enjoying that just as much. |

Books:Besides the Bible not to many. I have read a few books in my day but I have not read many books recently. Allthough I know they are better than the movies most of the time I still dont put the time and effort needed in to reading one. I usualy only get into a book if I want to study and learn about something. |
