Biografia One two three… I Monkey Shakers nascono nell’ottobre del 2006 da un’idea di Umberto Aghetoni (batteria), Cristian Alterio (basso), Daniele Cimarra (chitarra) e Valerio Pagnani (voce). Il quartetto, già collaudato in precedenti formazioni, si allarga a cinque con l’entrata di Marco Rossi (piano e organo) che aggiunge un carattere vintage con il suono del suo Hammond. Il gruppo inizia così il percorso nella musica beat, twist, garage e boogaloo degli anni 60-70, rispolverando i grandi successi dei tempi delle “battle of bands” (psycho, take a look at me, ecc.) , dei “college films” (Animal House: louie louie, shout, tossin’ & turning, ecc.) e dei “mods contro rokers” (my generation, you really got me, ecc.). Nel gennaio 2007 ai cinque si aggiunge Valerio Aghetoni nel ruolo di polistrumentista (sax, percussioni e cori). Il gruppo raggiunge quindi una forma definitiva ed è finalmente pronto ad esibirsi. A giugno i Monkey Shakers suonano a Serra de’ Conti in occasione della Festa della Musica. Nel luglio 2007 arrivano a supporto della band le due attuali coriste, Veronica Rossi e Chiara Silvestrini, che esordiscono nella formazione durante la realizzazione del demo. Nell’ottobre dello stesso anno il demo è finalmente pronto ed inizia una lunga sequenza di concerti live. Attualmente il gruppo I Monkeys, grazie alla passione e alla grinta che trasmettono nei loro concerti, riescono sempre a coinvolgere il pubblico, al punto che in pochi riescono ad astenersi dal ballare! I MONKEY SHAKERS SONO IL GRUPPO PERFETTO PER ANIMARE I VOSTRI TOGA PARTY CON IL LORO SOUND BALLABILE! SE STAI PENSANDO DI ORGANIZZARNE UNO CONTATTACI, TI ASSICURIAMO UNA SERATA INDIMENTICABILE!
