LaRay put the T in Talent. Not only can she sing but she also can do some hair.
LaRay grew up in Berkeley California, at the age of 5, her an her sisters and father made a tape of songs like ABC’s songs, an other ones that her sisters done. Being 5 yrs old she was very shy an didn’t want to tell people that she can sing . “Only the family knew”.At the age of 10 the shyness went a way, and an she started to sing with her grandfather at this karaoke place. LaRay an her sisters where known as Kam JAM little angels. Not only did she look up to her grandfather, but she also looked up to her mother. Her mother is a strong women who always encourage LaRay to sing. Her mother also knew how to sing, but her mom always kept it to her self an at church , not only her mom song at church but LaRay song at church as well, following her moms footsteps. LaRay also started to play piano all though LaRay’s father “Garry Hunter” who plays keyboards for the band “SpeCial ReQuest” is the one who started LaRay in playing piano. LaRay always said “one day im going to out due you daddy one day”. Did she no. :( Her dad’s hands move so fast there’s no way. But when it comes to singing you know who one that.At the age of 13 LaRay started to sing around her community.At the age of 15 to 17 LaRay wanted to sing at her high school, an did she? She did she used to sing with her friends all the time. But it was one person that she most sang with, not sing but sang her name is “MS BLUE”. MS BLUE an LaRay always song at there high school “Berkeley High school”. They sang at African dance performances, BSU, and at there graduation . Graduating from BHS was the hardest thing for LaRay because all of LaRay’s friends went away wile she stayed home to pursue her dream of being a singer an a hair stylist , not only is LaRay still in college but while the 20 yr old pursuing her dream of becoming a singer she also going to school for music, and cosmetology. She also works with kids at a recreation site called the “Young Adult Project” known as “Y.A.P.” She is very involved with her church an her community. This young lady is starting a new beginning. So come on LaRay we ready now…..I want to say thank you god for everything that you done for me I love you. I want to thank my family an friends for believe in me. And I want to thank prime U.S.A records I love you guys so much an we gone make it lol love you Ray.... an I want to thank all the people who comes an add me an show me love . This is my dream, an I hope you like my music. There’s going to be more songs comming soon! tell your friends an family to come by my page, there’s also going to be more shows comming up.
