For those of you who dont know me my name is Melissa, but most people just call me Mel. I was born and raised here in Arizona and I couldnt imagine being anywhere else. Im a very outgoing and optmistic person, sweet to everyone I meet, but please dont mistake my kindness as a weakness. I am definantly tough when I have to be. I have been hurt alot in my past by so called friends so I dont trust people very easily. I like to consider myself funny even if you dont think so lol Most of the time im just plain random and dorky :P Im always laughing about something, and no matter what I keep a smile on my face =) The whole reason I made this profile was to specifically add people that are in the entertainment industry, or photographers, bands etc. (basically anyone I dont know in real life) haha. I myself would love to get into the acting field and I figured this was a great way to help me do that. Im definantly not like most of the other girls you will ever meet. Especially now it seems that most of the women on Myspace are all FAKE, its pretty sad to see that these women arent comfortable just simply being who they REALLY are. To be honest im still kindof a tomboy at heart who loves to go camping, shooting, and quading. Most of the time you can catch me going out to the movies (of course lol) and I love going to concerts, clubs/bars, dancing, traveling, bike riding, and hanging out with my friends. I have and always will love sports like baseball, volleyball, and swimming. I've also been trained in Karate for several years. I recently found a great martial arts studio to train at where I am learning several techniques like: Shaolin White Crane, Japanese Kenpo, Brazillian Ju Jitsu and some Polonesian art. Im currently training on how to use weapons such as Kamas, Nunchucks, and Modern Arnis. I cant wait to learn how to use many others! I think that its a great idea for every woman to know how to defend herself, that alone would save so many lives. But out of everything, acting and dancing are by far two of my greatest passions in life, without my hopes and dreams I would be nothing. I honestly dont care if I am ever rich and famous, all that matters is that I am doing what I love and that im happy with where I am in life. I know I always seem to have my head in the clouds because something is always running through my mind.
