Creeping Maid liefert kontrastreichen, satten Melodic Death Metal von besonderer Art. Genau genommen bedienen wir uns des schleppenden Death Metal, melodischen Black Metal und lassen ebenso Elemente des Heavy Metal mit einfließen. Alles begann 1998 mit nur einer Gitarre und Schlagzeug im klassischen Heavy Metal Stil, doch die Mitmusiker kamen und gingen und jeder ließ ein Stückchen von sich in der Musik zurück. Bei unserer jetzt gespielten Stilrichtung sind wir vor ungefähr vier Jahren angekommen. Die Gitarrenarbeit ist mit der Zeit ausgereifter und der Gesangston auch um einiges rauer geworden. Jetzt im finalen Line-up haben wir drei Gitarristen – einer davon ist außerdem am Gesang tätig – einen Bassisten, eine schreiende Keyboarderin und einen Drummer. Es macht uns riesigen Spaß, wenn wir bei Auftritten mit dem Publikum durchdrehen können. Trotzdem holzen wir nicht sinnlos drauf los, sondern musizieren und improvisieren im Dienste unseres typisch walzenden Klangbildes. Jeder erhält Raum für seinen Soloauftritt, sodass das Füllen sämtlicher Takte mit unmäßig vielen Noten vermieden wird. 2006 nahmen wir das erste Album „Run In Dawn“ auf und hoffen auch bald unsere neuen Stücke auf Tonträger bannen zu können. Bis dahin freuen wir uns über viele Auftrittsmöglichkeiten und ausgiebigen Fankontakt. __________________________________________________ Creeping Maid plays Metal of high contrast and full sound which we call Melodic Death Metal. In particular, we use the influence of slowly Death Metal, melodic Black Metal and elements of Heavy Metal. It all began in 1998 with only one guitarist and a drummer, who made music in the style of Heavy Metal. But the band history chronicles a continual coming and going of members, whilst each left a piece of himself in our music. We achieved the current sound roughly four years ago. During the following period, guitar themes and the voices improved so much that we need now three guitarists – one is also the lead singer – a bassist, a bawling keyboarder, and a drummer. At a gig, we enjoy devilishly to wack out with the audience. Nevertheless, our sound stays straight and it does not end in crude noise. It is given the chance to anyone to express himself, knowing that no jingle-jangle will disrupt his performance. We recorded our first album “Run In Dawn” in 2006, and we are looking forward to the next audio recording of some new songs. In the meantime, it gives us great pleasure to rock the stage and stay in contact with fans. |
