| Hello, my name is Phil. I’m from Wakefield and I write and perform my own songs under the moniker The Swifts. I have some very talented friends who help me out once in a while but for the most part its just me. My songs are influenced mainly by American artists/bands of the Alt.country/Rock persuasion but because I’m from where I’m from they also carry an innate Englishness, which is further fuelled by a love of British pop music from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Hope you enjoy the tunes.
