As officially announced on XM Radio as they broadcast the lineup for this year's Rocklahoma concert from the historic Whiskey a Go Go on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, the five original members of Pair-A-Dice will be reuniting for a single show. Pair-A-Dice is scheduled to play Thursday night, July 10th. at 8:15 The festival will be a four day event in total starting on Thursday, July 10th and running through Sunday, July 13th. For more information and ticket prices, please see the following website: www.rockfever.comPair- A-Dice played an important part in the rise of the L.A. Metal scene in the 80's. Founding members Nick Masella(Bass) and Paul Lancia(Vocals) started Pair-A-Dice together in 1986. Daz(Drums) joined soon after, followed by Billy D'Vette(Guitar, Vocals) and Dave Marshall(Guitar, Vocals). This solidifed the line up that went onto becoming one of the most exciting live bands on the Sunset Strip in the Mid 80's.The next few years saw this Hard Rockin' Band SELLING OUT Shows at such Venues as: The Whiskey A Go-Go, The ROXY, Chuck Landis's Country Club, Gazzarri's, The Troubadour, as well as The Marquee just to name a few. All the while, they would be writing and recording "Demo" tracks for a future album.Pair-A-Dice enjoyed a huge following, and played with many of L.A.'s hottest bands like: Guns N Roses, Poison, Warrant, LA Guns, Bang Tango, Jetboy, TUFF, Pretty Boy Floyd,Jailhouse, The Zeroes, Racer X, and Hurricane."We got the chance to go to Japan as an unsigned band in 1989. This was unprecedented, and since we were always up up for an adventure - off we went! We toured Japan with Jetboy selling out two shows at the MZA Sound Coliseum, and enjoyed doing numerous interviews and performing at Pair-A-Dice's own headling events. This made it possible for us to really see Tokyo and sample a taste of their culture"- Billy D'VetteUpon their return to L.A. Paul started his own self titled project: "Lancia" and soon after, the remaining members of Pair-A-Dice all tried their luck with other groups: Dave went onto play with Brunette/Fiona and The Vince Neil Band. Billy replaced Marc Ferrari in Cold Sweat. Nick played with Ashes II Ashes, and Daz played on Alice Cooper's video "I Got a Line on You" from the Iron Eagle 2 Soundtrack.Until Now, their music has gone unheard except in the hearts of their faithful fans!
