First Team is taking a short hiatus from booking to focus on some other projects. We are currently phasing out the club booking side of our business to focus on festivals, fundraisers, corporate and university events. We appreciate your patience as we tweak our operations... ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- First Team Booking is the Starkville-based branch of First Team Marketing out of Jackson, Mississippi. The Starkville office handles all music / entertainment-related marketing and event planning for First Team. We are an affiliate of Dirt Road Records, a mid-level record label and management firm focusing on touring bands and festivals in North Mississippi (Oxford), and has experience in event planning on almost every level. Over the past five years, our staff has worked with such major Mississippi-based events as Jubilee Jam, Double Decker Festival, Cotton District Arts Festival, Bulldog Bash, The Great Southern Rock Revival and The Honest Tune Magazine Southern Rock Revival Series, as well as Big Spring Jam (Huntsville, AL), Odyssey Festival (Auburn, AL), SunRay Festival (Athens, GA) and Contagious Collaboration (Canadys, SC) just to name a few... The Great Southern Rock Revival - Oxford, Miss. Southern Rock Revival Series - On The Road Cotton District Arts Festival - Starkville, Miss. Double Decker Festival - Oxford, Miss. Our booking agents have also worked with the best venues in the state of Mississippi such as the State Theatre, Rick's Cafe Americain and Daves Dark Horse Tavern in Starkville, Proud Larry's, The Library and Two Stick in Oxford, Hal & Mal's and Mugshots in Jackson, Mugshots and the Bottling Co. in Hattiesburg, The Shedd and Government Street Grocery in Ocean Springs, Beady's in Greenville, The Pickled Okra in Cleveland, Woody's on the Water in Columbus, Bowie's Tavern in Natchez, Arts Shedhouse in Meridian, 308 Blues Club in Indianola, The Loft in Vicksburg, and the Bourbon Mall in Leland.
