The Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act is an initiative that will appear on the November 2008 ballot in California.This measure would ban the cruel and inhumane confinement of veal calves, egg-laying hens, and breeding pigs in cages andcrates so small they can't even turn around or extend their limbs.
