MANAGEMENT - WORKING FOR YOU AND YOUR MUSIC Rock -N- Country Management is a one-stop venue for the busy Artist who seek help with handling the business end of music. We act as your personal manager, representative and advisor as we support you and your music within the industry. Rock -N- Country Management handles negotiations with music industry contacts to obtain the maximum amount of revenue to you. In addition, we utilize an entertainment attorney when the need warrants to advise you of your best options with legal matters you may face up the road, including acting as your middle-man in handling your contracts with publishers, record companies, media (radio/t.v./press), production deals, ect... as we enthusiastically promote you and your music. We will represent you as we oversee and coordinate your existing and new business activities in progress. Through our competent booking agent, we assist you with advanced booking engagements at the city/town of your choice, if possible. Unlike some other management firms, we never ask you to guarantee a certain amount of bookings you will perform while signed with our services. We will book you as often or as little, and in the area where you'd like to perform. In addition, we offer discounts to clients with simple or full production quality demos in-studio or by mail order by experienced production engineers. Like a good song, we are unique and memorable to the management arena. Rock -N- Country Management charges for what they do for you, not what you do for us. Our flat rate of $200 (non-refundable) to sign-on and $100 per month is charged in lieu of the standard percentage that most management firms take away from your earnings. Traditionally many managers will charge anywhere from 15% to 25% or more of the income that you earn. Rock -N- Country Management is a cutting edge above the rest by being competitive within the managing market. Our contract is for a two-year period offering an "out" clause at anytime during the first six months, if for any reason whatsoever you'd like to terminate our service. We aim to please through our professional, competent and friendly negotiations as we represent you and your music throughout the music industry. We screen all clients through submission of a promo package sent to us by you. We feel that to best serve each client, selected staff of Rock -N- Country Management must hear your music and believe in your marketability. Therefore, your promotional package will be heard by many ears before being approved. Once accepted, you will become a part of our Rock -N- Country Management team and we begin working for you on your behalf. It is my job to scout for talent I feel may have the "it" factor. To be considered, I must first hear your music sent inside your promo package. I will also accept invitations and make every attempt to attend or send a representative from Rock -N- Country Management to a gig or event where you are performing after receiving your promo pack, if you are within the Nashville or south central Kentucky area, and I feel you have the "it" factor we are seeking. From this point, your promo package is sent up the ladder for additional review and consideration by the key people who actually make the decision of client approval. We are very selective on the artists that we choose to sign. Each member of our administrative staff is involved in the decision making process and in the promotion of EVERY ARTIST signed with ROCK -N- COUNTRY MANAGEMENT. Therefore, it is a staff decision as to whom we offer contracts. If you are selected to sign with our company, you can be assured that you will receive the best representation available. Music:Member Since: 9/13/2007Band Website: rockncountry.net Band Members: In addition to being a talent scout for Rock -N- Country Management, Teresa Austin is a songwriter, guitar student, mother, nurse, sister and friend. She started writing lyrics in November, 2005 after returning from seven weeks of medical-surgical nursing in Louisiana during hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Living an hour from Nashville in the countryside of Kentucky, she utilized several on-line websites and from there, she arrived to where she is today. Collaborating and networking with other songwriters at all levels of development, Ms. Austin soaked in newfound knowledge, becoming addicted to the music industry and the creative mechanics of song construction. In less than two years, eight of her lyrics with on-line singer/songwriter/musicians have been set to music. Among her accomplishments include volunteer song submissions to the "We Are The Future" International Song Project based in the United Kingdom, and the Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute based in Hawaii. Both organizations promote world peace through song. In addition, Greenpeace campaigner, "Ocean Defenders" based in Australia endorsed "Ocean Serenity", a song she collaborated with Dale Pulliam and produced by Steven Beasley from Southern California. Teresa is co-host of the annual Red River Songwriters Jam honoring international singer/songwriter/musicians such as the talents of Michael Sinclaire from Spain, and Jason Kemp of Australia, and inviting through open-invitation all artists to network and expose their musical creativity to the public. Teresa has been an active and strong supporter of signed and unsigned artists in the U.S. and around the globe.
