Nasce nel 1995 con l’intento di produrre musica di qualità e realizzare raccolte selezionando il meglio della musica elettronica attuale, con particolare attenzione ai nuovi suoni. Estrema cura viene posta nella realizzazione dei layout grafici e del packaging.
I titoli più di successo sono legati ai progetti artistici dei Mystic Diversions, Donati, Batuk e Joker Juice; nelle compilation, le due serie legate alla moda ‘Milano Fashion’ e ‘Roma Alta Moda’, oltre a ‘Sister’s Lounge’ e ‘Blacktronic’.

Etichetta storica fondata nel 1982 insieme a Energy Production, è famosa per i suoi tormentoni mondiali rimasti indelebili durante il periodo della disco ‘80 (‘Color my Love’ o ‘Happy Station’ delle Fun Fun), della dance anni ’90 ( ‘Saturday Night’ by Whigfield o ‘Two Times’ di Ann Lee) e attiva tuttora con buoni risultati (‘Tu Es Foutu’ di In-Grid o ancora Whigfield con “Was A Time’).

Energy Production was established in 1982 as an italian independent company by two famous DJ’s and great friends, Alvaro Ugolini and Dario Raimondi Cominesi.
Energy has operated in the music business for more than 23 years as a record company and music publisher with offices in Rome, Milan and Lodi.

Energy releases different kinds of music on its four main labels : - X-Energy (1982): commercial, pop-dance - d:vision (1991): house, underground - Extreme / Next (1991): trance, techno, progressive - Cool d:vision (1995): electro, nu-jazz, lounge and world music, with a focus on beautiful graphics and packaging.
Key Cool d:vision titles include “Milano Fashion”, “Roma Alta Moda”, “Blacktronic” and the artist albums of Mystic Diversions to name a few.
