| Angel est née en France de parents andalous. C'est donc naturellement qu'enfant, elle pousse ses premières notes en espagnol. Carlos Guardel, Celia Cruz, Mercedes Soza seront ses premiers guides. A neuf ans, elle débarque dans un petit village des hautes pyrénées, elle découvre la chanson française par l'entremise de Brel, Brassens et Piaf. Adolescente un peu rebelle, elle s'adonne au rock (Iggy Pop, Patti Smith...) sans délaisser ses premières amours métissées et fait ses débuts en public. D'années en années, de rencontres en rencontres, elle découvre de grands noms tels que Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner, Creedence, Prince, Otis Redding... S'en suivront diverses démarches de perfectionnement vocal sans pour autant quitter la scène, sa véritable école. C'est toutes ses influences que l'on retrouve dans la voix et dans le chant d'Angel. Elles lui permettent de passer d'une langue à l'autre, sans accent, avec une aisance de rossignol sur la branche, quelque soit le style et l'origine musicale. Angel c'est aussi la voix de"Mary Vox" sous le nom d'Angel.T ____________________________________________________________ ____Angel was born in France to andalusian parents. Quite naturally, the first songs she sings are Spanish ones. Carlos Guardel, Celia Cruz, Mercedes Soza are her first models. Aged 9, she settles in a small village in the Pyrenees, and discovers the French singing through Brel, Brassens and Piaf. A rebel teenager, she turns to rock’n’roll (Iggy Pop, Patty Smith,…) not quitting her first and mixed loves, and starts a live career. Years after years, meeting after meeting, she discovers the biggies : Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner, Creedence, Prince, Otis Redding... Then come various steps in vocal training, never giving up stage performances, her true love. All these influences are to be found in Angel’s voice and singing. They allox her to switch from one language to another without an accent and with the grace of a flying bird, whatever the style or origin of the music.
