C’est en Février 2007 qu’ABOROTH voit le jour. Clem (batterie) rencontre en effet GeoFf (guitare). Clem contacte alors KavöX (voix) et Joss (basse) ses acolytes dans sa formation de death metal précédente (TormenT CrafT).
La décision est prise après quelques essais d’évoluer dans du brutal death metal à une guitare.
Le groupe compose et répète durant environs 6 mois et parvient à se façonner un set de 5 compositions d’une durée d’une petite demi-heure.
Au début du mois de Juillet 2007, le groupe prend la décision d’engager Jeff, ami de GeoFf, le manque d’une seconde guitare se faisant sentir (notamment pour les rythmiques solo, la lourdeur des riffs, les harmonisations…)
Le groupe redouble d’efforts en Septembre avec l’objectif d’enregistrer une démo et de jouer en live.
Le set est dors et déjà calé et adapté à la seconde guitare et le groupe continue à composer pour avoir un set suffisant pour jouer en public.
ABOROTH joue alors le même mois en live avec NECROPSY (death grind de Tours ayant fait ses preuves sur la scène underground française)
Le groupe joue ensuite Décembre à Angers au T’es Rock Coco avec KOLIZION (death metal de Nantes.)
A la rentrée 2008, ABOROTH enregistre sa première démo en une journée intensive au studio TEMPO LOCO de Tours (Hunting Ground, Mindslaved…..)
ABOROTH reprend alors la composition dans le but de trouver un son plus personnel.
La formation est par la suite reçue à la Radio R.A.P., à l’émission L’Autre Monde animée par Xavier pour promouvoir sa démo.
Le groupe sera ensuite reçu, le 6 avril 2008 chez Radio Béton (très influente radio underground en région Centre), à l’émission Metalforce animée par Olivier, Catwoman et Damien, en interview.
Il partage ensuite la scène avec OFFENDING (death metal de Bordeaux très attendu avec des anciens d’ASMODEE notamment…) puis avec SACHTA (hardcore de région Centre).. : BIOGRAPHY : .
ABOROTH formed in february, 2007. The band was constituted of members of the former death metal band TormenT CrafT: KavöX (vox), Joss (bass) & Clem (drums) and of a new guitar player: Geof, met grace to Gui, a clem friend, drummer in Hunting Ground.
This new formation decided to play brutal death metal, influenced by american bands like Suffocation, Nile, cannibal corpse, Death, Deicide... and by others like Decapitated, Criptopsy...
ABOROTH builds a 5 songs set but needs a second guitar player.
In July, 2007, Jeff joins ABOROTH.
The songs and adapted for two guitars ans others are composed.
With this new member, ABOROTH finds a musical diversity in his death metal.
In January, 2008, ABOROTH records his first 3 tracks cd.
Then the band starts playing live.
ABOROTH played in the center of France with well metal bands as NECROPSY, KOLIZION, OFFENDING, SACHTA and desires now playing all other France.. : FROM FIRE TO LIFE AU LILO : . . : Extrait LEAVING OBSCURITY ET BLINDED FRENZY : .
