In the early nineties he became influenced by electronic music, and used to play a small club called Jerba in the evening time. In the late nineties House Music was hitting the Spanish clun scene and Paul at the age of just 18 was influenced by this started putting on house parties in the differents clubs in Barcelona. Paul Darey has been DJ’ing for over 15 years. He started his career in Barcelona working his way round the club scene before landing residencies in New York where he stayed for 3 years playing in such venues as Roxy and Splash. He has now returned to Barcelona where he has parties in Club Catwalk and Discoteq as well as the legendary Café Mambo in Ibiza throughout the summer. He has played along side some of the biggest names in House Music including Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, David Morales, Kurd Maverick, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, and more... He has a very versatile style but his sound is House, Electro and Progressive house. Actually he is based in the best and most famous place in the wolrd: SPACE Ibiza working as a resident dj in the MONDAY'S CALLING PARTY and also in the famous party in El Divino Ibiza "SALVACION". As well he are making the Cafe Mambo Ibiza World Tour. Café Mambo is in fashion and center of night life in Ibiza. The best people are there, and the most famous part of the musicindustry meet there all the summer. The best djs in the world go every night to play. The best clubs in the world organize their parties there and the best radio stations like BBC Radio 1 or Galaxy Radio fight to have their residences in Ibiza based there. Pacha has every day parties in the best palce in the Island: MAMBO. He has signed his first track to Cassagrande Music ‘House Music All Night Long’ which will be released in 2008, he is working in 2 cd compilations for this summer (Salvacion El Divino, and Cafe Mambo Ibiza) and also in a few remixes for Divas like Jocelyn Brown. He also presents 2 radio shows,one on Radio 1 Valencia weekly and the other ‘Ibiza Connection’ live on ADN Alternative which goes out in his native Argentina every Tuesday. You Can see Paul in summer in Space Ibiza @ Cassagrande so fresh and @El Divino in Salvacion and in Privilege Ibiza (Home Club Party) and for sure in Cafe Mambo. Donde con sus residencias estuvo todo este tiempo deleitando a los new yorkers con los ritmos importados directamente de la isla blanca. Además ha pinchado en Pacha Ibiza, o lugares como Opium garden Miami or Nikki Beach Miami. Junto a toda esta experiencia Americana, también ha tenido su oportunidad para demostrar aquí en nuestra casa, Europa como se las gasta detrás de los platos, y es un habitual de salas como, Pacha , Catwalk Barcelona, Folies Pigalle Paris, Goa Rome, Vip Room Paris, El Divino Ibiza, Space Ibiza, y muchisimas más... Por muchísimo tiempo se encuentra en un interminable tour que le ha llevado a pinchar a lugares como, China, Argentina, Bielorusia, Sudáfrica, Indonesia, Tunisia, Marruecos... Actualmente centra sus residencias de verano en el café mas famoso del mundo: Café Mambo. Café Mambo es uno de los centros de moda de la vida nocturna en Ibiza, en lo que a música se refiere. La mejor gente se da cita allí, detrás del impresionante despliegue mediático y musical que sigue a cualquier aparición del locutor mas famoso y mas escuchado del planeta: Pete Tong. Lo mas granado de la industria musical aparece en Mambo durante el verano y no es difícil encontrar a gente como Madonna, Paul oackenfold, Robbie Williams, o Simon Le Bon entre su clientela en un día cualquiera. Es por esto y por que los mejores djs del planeta hacen cola por pinchar en el que Mambo constituye un verdadero centro neurálgico de la música mundial. Además cuenta con las residencies de las mejores pre-parties de la isla, la incomparable residencia de BBC Radio 1 y Galaxy Radio. En Ibiza puedes ver a Paul Darey pinchando en la fiesta Cassagrande so fresh en Space Ibiza (Fiesta recientemente galardonada como mejor fiesta española en IBIZA), en Salvacion El Divino de Ibiza junto a dj como David Herrera, en Privilege y por supuesto en Cafe Mambo. PAUL DAREY en su faceta como productor esta preparando la producción del recopilatorio de Mambo y de Salvacion El Divino Ibiza junto a Victor Perez y David Herrera para este 2008, así como en la producción de diversos temas electrónicos y house que estaran en el mercado a lo largo del 2008. Ahora se enfrenta al reto de sacar su propio sonido para seguir escalando posiciones en este competitivo mundo que es el dj.
