| Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, I proudly present to you a handful of pieces of the puzzle called my life. Gaze your eyes upon whatever you would like; this coloring book is open to your eyes. But like any great storyteller, you can only have just enough to give you an idea of who I am. The rest of it depends on you. I encourage you all to explore my friends, my pictures, my words, and my interests and dig as deep as you wish until you hit the very bottom of the rabbit hole. Do you want to climb back up or are you ready for more?
To me, our lives are a collection of stories and moments. It seems every week I'm writing a new chapter to a book that will never end until the day I die. So as far as I am concerned, live to your fullest and truly appreciate who you really are. So many of you will never truly get the joke, but it is there waiting to be found like a buried treasure hiding in the darkness of its chest for years before finally seeing the silhouette of a new rich man in front of the sunlight. Oh, I do my best to enjoy the power of my youth because I know I won't understand it until I grow old. I can look back years from now and smile at how great things really were. Friends will come and friends will go, and maybe I'll marry and maybe I won't; but it is the special ones that I will absolutely hold onto. But I've been asked how I can remember so many compliments and forget all the insults, one way to do it is to never ever underestimate the healing power of laughter :) So as the show comes to an end, the kids are off their sugar rush, and all the fireworks explode; share with me where you are involved in this never ending story. |
