| DRS Productions is a media entertainment company specialising in music management and film production. Created by David Symington, DRS Productions started life in July 2006 out of Los Angeles, California. Subsequently based in Dublin, the company fostered its expertise in video production and artist management. In July 2008 DRS Productions decamped to London and signed the up-and-coming Vaughan King on its roster. Critically-acclaimed following the release of his debut album "The Triumphant" via DRS' own label imprint, Vaughan King has gone from strength to strength whilst he is preparing the recording of his second album. In conjunction with his solo work, Vaughan King co-founded LEFT, an alternative rock band formed in September 2008. Based in London, the four-piece group is finishing up the recording of an EP to be digitally released in January 2009. In addition to artist management, DRS Productions specialises in music video and film production. Critically acclaimed, the album scored 4/5 in Kerrang whilst Rock Sound hailed it as 'one of 2008's best kept musical secrets'. The album sold through word of mouth helped by an intense live show which is performed with a live band consisting of two cellists and the customary instrumentation of bass, drums and guitar. The band regularly perform sell-out shows at venues all across London such as the Barfly and The Water Rats Theatre. Plans are currently afoot to record a full length album for next year as Vaughan is busy writing and developing songs as an escalation to "The Triumphant". He is also the lead vocalist and guitarist in hard-art rock band "LEFT". The band have just recorded a three-song EP in Leeds and will be playing up and down the country in 2009. LEFT Alternative rock band formed in September 2008. Based in London, the four-piece group is finishing up the recording of an EP to be digitally released in January 2009. |
