| Velvet Fungus was formed by Gary Voelker and Victor Janacua in late 1992. The first Velvet Fungus sessions were recorded live at Track Record in North Hollywood, CA in the spring of 1993. Velvet Fungus’ live shows were not to be missed and on any given night you would see Velvet Fungus perform at bars like The Gaslight, Raji’s, Anti Club, Al’s Bar, Coconut Teaszer etc...Velvet Fungus died in late 1993...Velvet Fungus will re-surface in 2008 for a few select shows under the moniker - SELF INFLICTED | |
