| Chimera Davide Dugros (1979) e Simone Giglio (1983): due personalità musicali che si fondono in un unisono di sensibilità ed espressione musicale, pur distinguendosi per timbriche molto differenti. L’amalgama che ne deriva permette di presentare al pubblico un repertorio musicale raffinato che unisce la tecnica vocale ad atmosfere misteriose su musiche di propria composizione. Le canzoni, infatti, sposano sonorità etniche con quelle elettroniche e orchestrali. Il punto forte del duo è il bagaglio d’esperienza accumulato in tanti anni di musica, come ad esempio innumerevoli servizi di piano bar, concerti nel nord Italia ed importanti risultati raggiunti tra concorsi canori e corsi di perfezionamento. Una delle particolarità della formazione è che, pur composta da due ragazzi, può presentare brani che coprono un'estensione vocale vastissima che, in genere, solo un uomo e una donna insieme riescono a coprire. Altra caratteristica che distingue il duo è l'estetica; la magia dei CHIMERA, infatti, si completa sul palco grazie a costumi di scena realizzati, appositamente per loro, da "La Bottega dei Sogni" (compagnia valdostana che crea artigianalmente maschere e costumi veneziani e non solo...). Proprio con "La Bottega dei Sogni" i CHIMERA collaborano attualmente interpretando alcune loro canzoni all'interno dello spettacolo "Rèves" che la compagnia propone in tutto il mondo. Soprattutto in Giappone, dove "La Bottega dei Sogni" si reca quasi ogni anno, lo spettacolo ha un riscontro fenomenale che raduna migliaia di persone. L'ultima esperienza significativa dei CHIMERA è stata la partecipazione al concorso Sanremolab 2006, nel quale è stato presentato l'inedito LUCE DEGLI DEI che ha portato il duo fino alla finale. Molto gradite le performences per quanto riguarda l'aspetto estetico dei CHIMERA e un grande apprezzamento per il brano nella sua interezza (testo, musica e arrangiamento) da parte della commissione artistica e dei discografici presenti. I CHIMERA hanno appena terminato il loro primo album e stanno affrontando l'edizione 2007 di Sanremolab. Accanto all’attività di concerti e performances live, anche in collaborazione con la "Bottega dei Sogni", si prestano come cantanti e arrangiatori vocali nello studio di registrazione Audiomusica ad Aosta. chimera.music@gmail.com chimera.music@libero.it www.mondochimera.com www.labottegadeisogni.com CHIMERA Davide Dugros (1979) and Simone Giglio (1983): two musical personalities melted in an unison of sensitivity and musical expression, but also both with a very different timbre, so that together they are able to present to the public a refined musical repertoire that unites vocal technique to mysterious atmospheres on self composed musics. Their songs embrace at the same time ethnical, electronical and orchestral sonorities. The strong point of the duet is the large experience in all theese last years, like for exemple a great many evenings of piano bar, concerts in north Italy and important results achieved in vocal contest and specialisation courses. One of their peculiarity is that, even if it's composed by two boys, this duet can propose songs that ask a very wide range of voice that only a man and a woman together can sing. Another characteristic that distinguishes this duet is the "aesthetics"; the magic of CHIMERA, in fact, is completed on the stage-set using scenic costumes realized by "La Bottega dei Sogni" (company that creates hand-crafted venetian masks and costumes from Aosta Valley ...). The CHIMERA collaborate currently with "La Bottega dei Sogni" interpreting their songs in the show "Rèves" that the company proposes all over the world. Especially in Japan, where "La Bottega dei Sogni" goes every year, the show is a phenomenal event that collects thousands of persons. The last meaningful experience has been their participation at Sanremolab 2006 (italian vocal contest which brings the winners directly to Festival di Sanremo), where they had presented their unpublished song LUCE DEGLI DEI that brought them until the final step of the competition. Their performances has been very appreciated, both for the look of CHIMERA and for their song in it's entirety (text, music and arrangement) by the artistic board of examiners and also by the present discographics. CHIMERA had just finished their first album and are now dealing with the Sanremolab edition 2007. Nearly their activity in concerts and live performances, also in collaboration with "la Bottega dei Sogni", they lend themself to singers ad vocal arrangers in studio.
