To go back in time self-interest played a roll with kings and conquerors in times before today, land was fought over to make kingdoms. Because of selfish people capitalizing on their resources and that is taking over strong and weak wield individuals and land to prosper. The method and strategy is the same but how to manage it, Nonetheless Adam Smith to playoff what we already known though history and analyze it and wrote a book to prosper. Yes I agree with him he made money off of people by explaining are selfish ways why not get paid. Anyone can do this and become immortal.
