| from the beginning, hifiklub has been open to external collaborations, inviting musicians as well as artists or graphic designers, whose work has had an unquestionable influence on the band.
the first volume of our project, that we announce today under the name of "French Accent", has been co-produced by the band and Earl Slick (guitarist for David Bowie, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Ian Hunter, etc.). we have recorded it with the participations of Earl Slick, Paulo Furtado (a.k.a. The Legendary Tigerman and member of Wraygunn), Robert Aaron (David Bowie, Fischerspooner, Chic, Wyclef Jean, Mick Jagger, Blondie or James White to name a few), Michael Beckett (Schneider TM, The Beautiful New Born Children, Kpt Michigan, etc.) and Evil Eddy Jo/ Plain Jane from New York band Lone Vein.
