About Me |
|
| Peg and the Bouffants were formed in early 2007 by Janine and Kirsty, two best mates from dryburgh in dundee who bonded over a love of music and writing songs.
They first got Peg, a local legend, to play Guitar for them and set about writing songs influenced by their love of r'n'b, ska and britpop. They next recruited Calum and Jamie from local band the Hoffs to play saxophone and bass, and when drummer Jaq Inglis (formely of Dave?) joined in december 2007 the lineup was complete. With a growing fan base, a reputation as an excellent live act and with a set of catchy, up beat tunes under their belts Peg and the Bouffants are not to be missed! "musically and visually, it's something that you just lap up from start to finish... a jazz-rap blitzkrieg!" -Andy Garibaldi (http://www. deadearnest. btinternet. co. uk) "Great fun! ...delightfully bombastic. " - Bill Evans (www. billevansmedia. com) You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor ! |

Andy G Doghouse review Febraury 3rd |

| It had been a while since I'd seen Peg & The Bouffants. Right from the start there seemed to be a real confidence and swaggering spirit in the two lead vocalists, Janine and Kirsty. With her mass ... Posted by Peg and the Bouffants on Tue, 05 Feb 2008 09:20:00 PST |

Andy G review of Doghouse 17/10/07 |

| Dundee band Hanney don't do that many gigs these days - which would explain why, just short of 10.15pm, the gig was a sell-out. A special Saturday night at The Doghouse, that's for sure.First on stage... Posted by Peg and the Bouffants on Sat, 24 Nov 2007 07:44:00 PST |
