| Esh (e-shh!) is an experienced vocalist, guitarist, writer and arranger, who isn’t afraid to push buttons when it comes to her music career. Her sound oozes out power and sex appeal with so little effort, the singer says she’s been blessed to work with some great singers and musicians that have shared and blessed her with priceless experiences and lessons. “My quest in life,” she reveals, “isn’t to do anything better or faster than anyone, just to enjoy what I do, and be present in every aspect of life.” Esh (e-shh!!) attended Columbia College in 2001, relocating from Milwaukee, Wi to Chicago lending her talents for background vocals, arrangements, and lyrics in several genres including, R&B, Neo-Soul, Pop, and Country. Esh’s diverse musical background led her to find her voice in Alternative Rock, although she is very hesitant to identify with any label when it comes to her music. She embraces all geners of music with and open mind of one day traveling on the road performing with her own band.The humble vocalist goes on to say; “I wasn’t just put here to sing and play dress up on stage, I’m here to rock out! Besides, my purpose is much bigger than that. I just ask for guidance in developing the qualities and characteristics necessary for a strong female artist in today’s music scene.” “To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven” Ecclesiastes 26:3.
