| THE LATEBIRDS come from HELSINKI, FINLAND. They've rocked together since 2000, made three rocking albums and played gigs around the world with the likes of Wilco, Patti Smith and the Jayhawks.The Latebirds are capable of switching from stadium rockers to country twang, from catchy power pop to leftfield punk, from loud guitars to piano ballads.Their latest album, RADIO INSOMNIA, was produced by ex-Wilco drummer Ken Coomer together with engineer Charlie Brocco (Jeff Lynne, George Harrison, Fleetwood Mac). Recording took place in Woodstock NY and Helsinki FIN.The album features guests like Benmont Tench (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers), Wayne Kramer (MC5), Ken Stringfellow (Posies, REM) as well as various Wilco-members.The Latebirds are currently working on new material with producer Jim Scott (Wilco, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dixie Chicks etc).I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 | |
