| Dorit is a Singer/songwriter multi-instrumentalist AND "Belly Dancer of the Universe!"
In love with superheroes, she doesn't mind having a dual artistic identity.
In fact on a recent tour in Italy Dorit acquired the name 'Animale Da Palcoscenico' meaning 'animal of the stage.' And that pretty much sums up her energy.Her MUSIC is a melting pot of NYC Rock with many songs heavily influenced by the rhythms and melodies of the Middle East and North Africa. It is meant to be seen LIVE whether its an organic acoustic night or full out electric one. Song and dance!!!Dorit has had one of the most successful and highly visible dance careers and is known as the Jimi Hendrix of Ethnic dance. She is a trend setter in the art form.
She has performed in front of thousands on stage and on TV, and has inspired many people to take up the dance itself or just appreciate life in a different way. Her performances have been called 'magical' 'hypnotic' 'sexy' spiritual' and the list goes on. Among her thousands of shows she has performed for international celebrities, royalty, and has shared the stage with many known and underground incredible artists.Whether you know her as a dancer or a musician it is clear that she is 100% artist. Day in day out. No made up names, persona, or fashions.
