| Wise was born on AUG. 10th 1979 in Nagoya, Japan to an Irish/American mother & Japanese father. He then moved to Tokyo, Japan when he was 3 years old & grew up there speaking Japanese & English. When he was 13 years old he attended an international school in Tokyo called Japan International School(JIS), & that is where he his love of Hip-Hop began, after listening to American Hip-Hop by Arrested Development, A Tribe Called Quest, GANGSTARR, De la Soul, Wu-tang clan, Snoop dogg, etc, & also Japanese Hip-Hop which was on the verge of blowing up.(BIG TIME!) Also at that time in JIS, Wise met future J-Rapper Pes an emcee who is now part of the hugely popular RIP SLYME rap group & started practicing the art of rhyming with Pes. After graduating JIS Wise left Japan to study abroad at St.Thomas More Boarding School in Connecticut where he started freestyling to enhance his skills. He attended school for 1 year then transefered to St.Johnsbury Academy in Vermont where he studied for 2 years until he graduated High school. In 1997 while attending St.Johnsbury, Wise paid a visit to Boston & met college students who shared the same intrests in expressing themselves through art in any form. With them Wise forms a crew named "KAZE-NO-HITO" which translates to "The People of the Wind". The group of KAZENOHITO started with 10 members at first including DJ's, MC's, Bands and graphic & traditional artists. The main members in KAZENOHITO are DJ Denno, JPC BAND, SMORGAS, GRIFFIN, Sosui, Under Slow Jams, Junglist Youth. Still to this day KAZENOHITO is still growing. These artist are active both in the under ground & major scenes. For more info www.kazenohito.jp (japanese only) After returning from finishing school in the US Wise went back to Japan in 1998, where Wise & the KAZENOHITO crew started a party named "Kooni" at club Milk in Ebisu,Tokyo. This well known & respected party has been going strong for 9 years & is known for the variety of artists and talents in the group.In 2000 Wise was in a group called "JamAinu" which consisted of 8 members, 2 MC's: & BON-4, 1 DJ: Dj RITZS, Bass: ex-Loop Junction bassist Miyatch, a Drummer: Simon, ..board was Keyth A.K.A DJ DENNO, Shamisen master TKO (Shamisen-proun. Sha-me-sen-(def.)traditional Japanese string instrument) & expat Adam, from the United States of America.
