Kim Simmonds began Savoy Brown began in 1965 and became one of the architects of the British Blues Invasion of blues infused into rock and roll. Savoy Brown has had a storied roster of musicians including 3 of the 4 original Foghat members, as well as members of Fleetwood Mac, Robert Cray, U.F.O, Black Sabbath and many others. Artists including Warren Haynes, Los Lobos, Aerosmith and many other have been influenced by Savoy Brown. Their 35th album, STEEL, was released this year in the U.S. and will be released internationally spring 2008.
