Catwings I'm a deejay at KTUH, 90.3 FM Honolulu, the University of Hawaii's college radio station. If it's local and I have it, I'll play it for you! If you ever have any suggestions for me, feel free to drop me a line by email, and if you ever see me on the street, don't be afraid to say "Hi!" Support the 808! I'm also a member of Honolulu's favorite burlesque troupe Cherry Blossom Cabaret! I'm also an aspiring model and would love to build my portfolio and work with any photographers willing to do TFCD. Unity Crayons is the only non-profit organization in Hawaii committed to showcasing emerging bands, artists, and performers in "All Ages" venues. They provide a support system for the local music scene catering to many genres of music. Unity Crayons is run by a collective of local musicians, artists, and promoters with the goal to unify the underground music and art of Hawaii. The 808 Scene Zine showcases Hawaii's local musicians and artists with a focus on the local music scene. This publication hopes to be an outlet for all those creative, intelligent, and talented individuals in Hawaii's underground to speak their minds or see their work published. 808shows.com is a concert calendar maintained by Jason Miller of Hawaiian Express Records. Their goal is to offer a one-stop location on the internet for bands and fans in Hawaii, in order to make supporting local music as easy and convenient as possible, for all involved. DoSomethingTonight.com is a product of the horrible club and bar info found on the internet. They were born and raised here and hated sifting through all the crap on those other websites to find things to do at night. 948-BUZZ was started by a few friends who wanted to know what was going on AND didn't have time to search. So they started a phone line and web site to hook everyone up with an easy and convenient way to get their buzz on. Honolulu's Nightlife Diaries is a blog by SuperCW. passionate about life. nightlife. people. arts. culture. technology. stories. QuadMag.com is an online community existing to encourage Hawaii as a destination for fabfresh culture. By helping to synchronize Hawaii with the pulse of today’s art exchange and mapping trade routes that showcase Hawaii’s urban island culture, they work to introduce the rest of the world to island life while stimulating the multifaceted creative scenes unique to Hawaii, which they love and which nourish us. www.lightsleepers.net is an online forum. The cultivation of Hip-Hop based in Hawaii nei. unclemurdles is just a group of friends, that are weird, and different, but for some reason get each other. have the same sense of humor. it's also a creative community, or an open forum, where everything is supported, yet nothing is taken seriously. people either get it or they don't. doesn't matter either way. it's like whatever. It started off as a radio show called Uncle Murdles House in the early 2000s on KTUH, with MCs Blastyojaw and 5B. The show featured comedy, interviews, news, events, hip hop, punk, indie, hardcore, country, classical, r&b, jawaiian, crunk, hyphy, ska, bjork, and every other type of music form.
