Stained Glass Torture is a metal band forged out of the wastelands of Monroe , MI in 2003. In a time of confusion, corrupt governments, and where self-prosperity governs all, SGT is about being true to yourself and others, and letting no one control you. Their musick is inspired from their hatred of the world, the beauty of darkness, and all genres of musick, and thoughts. The very first show they played, they were banned from the venue due to "religious debates," and ever since then SGT has been trudging through shit and fighting to spread their message of hatred and organized chaos, and tearing down all that stands in the way.

Through the se first couple years, there has been several line up changes. Three members remain of the original core, and continue to pursue the art of destruction through musick. They enjoy nothing more than jamming and playing shows, and are always up for it. But an SGT show isn't like any other show. It's one of those things you have to experience to be able to describe. They have been playing a number of shows and recording studio sessions since they formed, plan on touring soon, and have opened for such national acts as Cannibal Corpse, Superjoint Ritual, DevilDriver, Opeth, Moonspell, Goatwhore, Napalm Death, Kataklysm, Macabre, MushroomHead, Level C, and Crossbreed. They would also like to thank everyone for their support, and can only re-pay you with Cheap Merch, Intense Shows and a promise to never stop making heavy sadistic musick made to kill, Create, sexually violate, and unleash the most purely aggressive of natures from inside you.
