| Carl Bee is a rare breed of DJ. Carl is one of the most talented and upfront DJs in Malta. His ear for a tune has become a hallmark; consistently picking up unknown, exclusive tracks and turning them into dance floor monsters; this makes his every set a spectacular event.Carl’s performances display a wide range of quality music, from deep sexy, progressive with electronic elements , Minimal to Tech-house. His upfront style and extensive selection of material has earned him recognition and praise from the very highest levels. Carl’s DJ sets are now increasingly being demanded at the best clubs around Malta.In March 2001 the DJ awards in Malta and the peoples votes awarded Carl as the Best New Comer DJ of the Year!!Having DJed for 6 years, in 2004, Carl Bee was signed up by Fresh Music Agency after being tipped as the next best upcoming DJ from one of Malta’s top DJ and best Female DJ on the Island, Miss RobertaDue to a combination of factors, Carl’s reputation and workload has rocketed. Since 2004 Carl’s career has expanded keeping Carl packed with gigs and performances. He kicked the year off doing a highly acclaimed set at the CREAM NYE event. After such an impressive set CREAM(Malta) have assigned Carl as part of their resident DJs to play during all sold out CREAM events.He has performed official warm ups for artists such as CASSIUS, DEEPDISH, DAVID PENN, MAX GRAHAM, THOMAS PENTON, DJ CHUS, TIM DELUXE & DANIELE TIGNINO, JAKE FAIRLEY aka FAIRMONT to name a few…Carl is nowadays a regular in all top events held in Malta as well as performing alongside Miss Roberta in all Get Funky events in various clubs. It is evident that 2006 is set to be a big year, as in April his own promotional events “BEE by Carl Bee” kicked off and in June he has been awarded Best Upcoming DJ of the yearHe is without question one of the Malta’s finest talents. December 2006 saw Carl’s first international gig were he was booked by Red Iguana club in Tunisia to perform for their NYE event as their headlining dj.
