About Me
Winner of the 2006 CJAM 91.5FM Jammy Award for... "WINDSOR'S BEST BAND" Modern organic-electronic driven sounds with a compositionally classical sensibility... dark, introspective, complex & intense... A structured music enhanced by location recordings and a complex, experimental & layered live perspective... What started out as sketches of dreams, words, harmonies, characters, fashion, melodies...has come together as NOT_digital. Named "Windsor's Best Band: 2006" by CJAM 91.5; "NOT_digital have masterfully managed to combine electronic, trip-hop and industrial sounds into a gorgeous collage of music." Almost conjuring of another world, NOT_digital forces the listener to drift off with the music & escape for a time. "The music's strength lies in building an environment." The debut CD released is very electronic while the live show is much different. NOT_digital's "stage presence is incredible," using unique guitar and bass sounds to capture and hold the audience. Modified guitars activate layers of synthesizers, bass tones run multiple effects and vocoding and sampling all throw the listener new angles of sound production... NOT_digital have shared the stage with the likes of 8mm, Holy Fuck, Shout Out Out Out Out, Nash the Slash, Mahogany Frog, The London Apartments & Land of Talk among others.
