About Me |
|
| This group is dedicated to the cultural preservation and exchange of information with regards to the films, music, art, literature, theatre, dance, spoken word and overall culture of Africa and the African Diaspora. We were inspired by the Pan African Film Festival - which began in 1992, in Los Angeles, California - celebrating African art and cinema. Every year, during the month of February, the Pan African Film Festival showcases over 100 films from Africa, the United States, Europe, The Caribbean, South Pacific, Latin America and Canada. These films and videos can be of any genre and must depict positive and realistic images. | |
