Jose Ignacio Lopez @ Cubo @ EnTijuanarte Add to My Profile | More Videos El Lazo Invisible is the individual project of the sound artist Jose Ignacio Lopez. This project was born in the border zone of the U.S. with Mexico (San Diego / Tijuana) in 1998. The personal interest that generated this project was the production of sound pieces that would represent landscapes of Latin America from various levels of interpretation and conceptualization, with the abstraction of their urban cultural elements. The sound sources for the construction of these sonic collages are basically from the digital realm, although the process also includes field recordings and home made oscilators for the creation of reconstructed atmospheres within the realm of the click and the microtone. Currently, Jose Ignacio Lopez, is a graduate student at UCSD in the Computer Music programme. Tiene en su haber 5 discos como solista que pueden ser adquiridos a través de DI.
