| Welcome to my world. I'd invite you in for a cup of tea and a chat if it wasn't all so virtual! And whilst I'm all for a bit of self-promotion, I thought I'd let some others get a word in.. 'Gorgeous female singer-songwriter. Originally from Lancashire, now based in London. Emotive, passionate, melodic rock with a hint of country - a beautiful and confident sound. Magically crafted songs capturing moments in time - WIDE OPEN SKY is an impressive debut album with a stack of singalongable tunes.' 'Anon' 2005 I'll go along with the gorgeous, and I'm a girl. I write and sing my own tunes. I'm a true northerner with a wild and generous heart, a lust for life, and the will to succeed - so I guess that covers the rest. 'And while this remains a thoroughly contemporary pop album, the excellent production would be largely irrelevant without decent songs and a great performance. Fortunately, Warley really delivers on these counts too. Her vocal style is perfectly suited to this type of music, clear and rich with the strength to impose herself during the louder moments but tender enough to convince in the softer lulls. Theres perhaps a touch of Annie Lennox with Chrissie Hyndes attitude; elsewhere, maybe a hint of Shawn Colvins rockier side but Warley is never indistinct.'
