I'd like to meet:God, Jesus and the Virgin Mary o_O "Microgravity", by Biosphere: arctic sound. "Samskeyti", by Sigur Rós: tear-jerking crescendo, sound of Heaven. The video is in syntony with the track. "Melancholia", by William Basinski: a sublime melancholic melody; and the video goes very well with the music. William Basinski performing "The Disintegration Loops": again great, wonderful, stunning music. The central piece is celestial. Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli plays Debussy: precision, elegance and refinement. A very beautiful amateur video, made by an Autechre fan, that goes well with the track "Eutow". "Vordhosbn", by Aphex Twin. Hyperkinetic music! This is a perfect example of a track with an intricate rhythmical structure. Another beautiful amateur video with Autechre's music; the track is "Surripere". This track could be, for me, a good soundtrack for a film on the Apocalypse, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1vKisefsuI It is a pity that the video is too short, and the track has been cut... A naturalistic amateur fan video with soundtrack Boards of Canada's "The Smallest Weird Number". Very nice video found on Youtube (also on MyspaceTV). Daydreaming pretty woman. Good choice for the soundtrack. Amateur (?) video for (Christian) Fennesz's "Happy Audio". Good visuals for a wonderful, oneiric, metaphysical melody. Pan Sonic's "Kuvaputki" album trailer. Johann Strauß II's "An der Schönen, Blauen Donau" ("The Blue Danube") in the all-time best film (imho): "2001: A Space Odyssey", by Stanley Kubrick. The shuttle and the space station are like classical dancers: extremely beautiful scene! Elizabeth Fraser, singer of the Cocteau Twins: the best female voice ever (always imho). She's a nightingale! The song is "Carolyn's Fingers", and it is so beautiful that it moves me to tears. This is dreaming music. The dark Siouxsie Sioux singing "Fireworks" with her band, the Banshees. The kool noise-rockers Sonic Youth. |
