About Me |
|
| Philip Lindholm combines the beauty of '60s folk music with the grit of post-grunge Seattle, producing a new folk-rock sound in tune with the brighter and darker sides of the human spirit.
After graduating from Oxford, busking in Paris, composing at Juilliard, and acting in London, Lindholm played a number of lively shows in England where he was called "the male K.T. Tunstall." He has since returned to his native Seattle to record a debut record. Between home recordings and Seattle's famous London Bridge Studios (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains...), 2008 shall formally hear the first, but certainly not the last, from this promising folk-rocker. |

Music:Member Since: 10/25/2007Band Website: lindholm.info Band Members: me Influences:I once journeyed to the home of RACONTEURS. It was a peculiar land. The villagers were eating DEVIL'S RICE and SMASHING PUMPKINS in tune with the church bells whilst I ventured out of the forest. Luckily, I noticed in time that LED ZEPPELIN's were falling from the sky and causing young and old alike to RUN Down the Meadow's Crossing. Having come from ALABAMA, I was entirely unaccustomed to such A FINE FRENZY. Even the AIR smelled different. Noticing my displacement, the leader of the local TRIBE approached me. "Welcome to the land CALLED QUEST," he said, with caution in his eye. "Here, you can pursue all the deepest desires of your heart, but you must be willing to leave behind the PETTY life of TOMfoolery you once knew." Confused, I said, "But I'm just a RADIOHEAD trying to find my way." The leader, with an almost METALLIC Anger, screamed. "That is your way?!? I am offering you a life of bliss and perfect love!" I smiled, turned around, and went home. Sounds Like: me Record Label: now accepting applications Type of Label: None |
