| Elastic Bond started out as a a medium for Venezuelan producer Andrés Ponce to experiment and create a unique sonic cocktail. The name of the project suggests the idea of eclectic sounds and musical genres held together by a common vibe. Elastic Bond's debut album titled "Madrugada", is a groovy blend of dub, soul, funk, chillout and Brazilian rhythms. The album includes many cool collaborations with talented musicians from Miami's fertile scene such as the vocalists Sofy EnCanto and Fitzroy, Waxy Needles on turntables, Ken Metzker on percussion, Cocuon on trumpet, the funky guitars of Flero, Zuse, Buffalo Brown, John "Tocino" Speck on the trombone, and the jazzy flutes and saxes of Juan Turros. After the album's independent release in the summer of 2006 Elastic Bond has evolved from being mostly a studio project into a full-fledged live act; incorporating the raps of MC Orion, a horn section, percussion, guitar, and the soulful vocals of Sofy EnCanto to the breakbeats coming from Andres' samplers. Elastic Bond's live shows are a remarkable mix of electronica and the uncomparable feel of a live band, blending retro vibes with the sounds of today and tomorrow.--------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------- Elastic Bond comenzo como un medio para el productor e ingeniero Venezolano Andrés Ponce con el fin de experimentar y crear un cocktail sonoro diferente. El nombre del proyecto sugiere la idea de sonidos y generos musicales eclecticos unificados por una vibra comun. Madrugada, el album debut de Elastic Bond es una mezcla de Dub, Soul, Funk, Chillout, y ritmos Brazileros. Este album incluye varias colaboraciones bien buenas con musicos talentosos de la fertil escena Miamense como los cantantes Sofy EnCanto y Fitroy, Waxy Needles en los platos, Ken en la percusion, Cocuon en la trompeta, las guitarras funky de Flero, Zuse, Buffalo Brown, John "Tocino"Speck en el trombon, y las flautas jazzeras de Juan Turros.
