| During the fall of 2007 Jeremy and Sean had the idea to start a band. It started out as more of a pipe dream rather than an attainable goal. Jeremy had already been playing guitar for a couple years, and Sean learned how to play bass. It started out with us playing a Nirvana cover "Drain You" with just guitar and bass, and no singing, cause Sean couldn't sing and play at the same time then. Then Sean started writing songs (at first the songs sounded shitty and the lyrics were horrible, but they steadily improved.) Eventually, a kid (who we now just refer to as asshole) joined on guitar and Jeremy switched to drums. We made three songs with him (Steak House, Deaf Blind and Dumb, and an early version of Lizzie Borden.) Then we kicked him out because he never came to practice, and wanted to turn us into 80's new wave. A few weeks later, Rich joined the band. We had already known him from school. He was one of our "pipe dream" members. We made four songs with him (Show Me Anarchy, Wanna be Emo, I Killed a Man Today, and Jaded, which was an Operation Ivy Cover) He eventually started putting other things in priority instead of the band, and he stopped coming to practice. We never heard from him again...Eventually Sean and Jeremy just started practicing with just them. Jeremy went back to guitar, and we made around 10 new songs and two new covers. JEREMY- Metallica, The Adolescents, Pantera, The White Stripes....................ZEB- Acid Bath, Death Sounds Like: Our music is normally fast, although several of our songs switch tempo from slow or mid to fast. Our songs are packed with energy. Our lyrics have the intellectual sides of Operation Ivy and Dead Kennedys, and the emotional sides of Black Flag and Rites of spring. Although our main influences are derived from punk rock, we feel that we are different, in a way, than other punk bands. Kind of like The Minutemen: still punk, but we definitely have our own style.
