I'd like to meet:musicians and militants -- I love music and people who are free thinkers. I use my blog as a place of self expression -- it runs the gamut of the spectrum of my mind and is sometimes thought provoking, sometimes banal, sometimes funny, sometimes sentimental and I try not to make it too perverse but I curse, so I'm sorry if that offends -- I have a somewhat prurient nature but I try to keep that undocumented :-D I'm a photographer and I collect and shoot erotic art (although i shoot all kinds of subjects -- my pix page a lot of my work is there. You can also view my favorites -- if a picture is worth a 1000 words -- this collection of photos will tell you more about me than I could in a volume the size of war and peace and it would probably be much more truthful -- you supply the adjectives.... my favorites . My favorite music and movies are far too many too mention and run the range from ambient to zydeco and everything in between -- I am a savant when it comes to music... ok, i'm a savant when it comes to a lot of things... I sing and there's a cd available online but you'll have to torture me to tell you where it is because i hate it so much and didn't okay the release. I used to do some performing and recording and people that I knew from then have always said to me "do you still sing" - duh, do I still breathe! I sang before I talked my mom said and so it is today still -- I don't do it for pay at the moment, but that isn't the joy of it -- the joy is opening my mouth and letting the sound flow out. I tell my daughter that as soon as she's out of school I'm returning to my life as a gypsy and I'm selling the house, cashing in the 401K, buying my beach house in brazil and joining a band on the road.... I don't know about the road, but I'd love to do studio stuff again. I've got memory loss and I can't remember lyrics to save my freakin' life!!!!!!! The militant side of me is dissatisfied with the state of things in America, knows that my ancestors fought for a helluva lot more than for us to be flossin' and actin' a fool worried about what celebrities are up to this week. Don't get me started on that.... hmmm, i'll have to blog about it.... I care about the planet and the people on it -- I don't care to sit in a pew and hear some guy up front tell me about how I can prepare for God's kingdom.... The creator of this universe cannot be stuffed into a single book or ideology -- ya feel me. So, me? I choose to treat people and the planet with love and respect and plant a few flowers along the way to leave something pretty for those behind me to see..... I got a little street in me so I have a bit of a hustla mentality too -- what a combination -- I don't know -- think mother earth meets martha stewart meets lil Kim So there you have it... peace -- one love -- Namaste -- Hotep -- I'm out.......if I add you as a friend and we're not acquainted in the real world, it's because I find your thoughts in harmony with mine, your music is tight, or your just plain pleasing to look at. |
