(That's right! I said it!!!) Indian music has been making some progressive inroads into popular culture over the past decade. Not only are we hearing South Asian rhythms mashed with club beats and hip-hop, but the West is also experiencing an Indian cultural "INVASION" with the recent mainstream success of Bollywood films. As you may or may not know, ALIEN CHATTER has signed a deal with Six Degrees Records as part of their Emerging Artist Series, which will be available for download on 10.16.2007 at sixdegreesrecords.com The new physical cd, entitled "INVASION", will be available for purchase at our live shows, and through cdbaby.com/alienchatter only!! Infact, the discs are being pressed as you read!!! We are extremely excited about this new recording! We have been blessed with, and are grateful to, some seriously amazing artists to lend their brilliance and musical genius to this project! We can't even begin to thank them enough!! Those artists are; Michael Landau on Electric Guitar, Dmitris Mahlis on Oud, Shri Aloke Das Gupta on Sitar, Stan Sargent on Upright Bass, Shawn Davis, and Rico Belled on Electric Bass!! We hope that you all enjoy it as much as we are...It's a little scary the second time round, because there was nothing to compare it to, really! Of course, there is our 1st cd to compare it to now. So please don't!! HAH!! right...like that ain't going to happen...
