| Hello everyone. My name is Nikos Dellaportas. I was born 33 years ago at the beautiful island of Corfu (Greece). As a child I tried many instruments including violin, accordion and bouzouki, but for the last eighteen years I've been trying to find my voice through the guitar. Many people have helped me to achieve that, including Kostas Baltazanis, Giotis Samaras, Rick Peckam, Jim Kelly, Offer Ganor, Giuseppe Continenza, Jonathan Kriesberg, and I thank them all. Also I had the chance to be on stage with people like S.Malamas, Th.Papakonstantinou, M.Xydous, B.Stokas, V.Germanos, M.Kana, M.Zorbala, Z.Papadopoulou, Vox and more. The last six years I've been facing the challenge of teaching at the Philippos Nakas conservatory in Athens. I believe that if you see everything as a learning opportunity, then there is a lot of knowledge waiting for you. Whether you play, teach, breathe, there is always something new to learn.
